Sara is originally from Richmond, Virginia, and holds a MA in African American and African Diaspora Studies from Indiana University. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University.
Sara is passionate about social justice, community-building, journeying with people from trauma to healing, and poverty. Sara works most with frequently with children to heal attachment issues through Theraplay, with treating trauma in adults and children, and with college students.
Her hobbies include local foods, gardening, farming, and folk arts.
